Ingredients for Raw Soya Chaap

2 small soya chunks

1 cup vital wheat gluten or 1 cup all-purpose flour (if gluten is not present)

2 to 3 tablespoons gram flour (optional)

one teaspoon salt

Half teaspoon ginger powder or paste

one spoon oil

water as per need

Prepare raw soya chaap like this

  1. First of all, soak the soya chunks in hot water for 10 to 15 minutes. When it becomes soft, squeeze out the water and grind it in a grinder to make a paste.
  2. Put the paste of soya chunks in a big vessel and add gluten or flour, salt and oil in it.
  3. Now add some water to it and knead it well.
  4. Keep in mind that your batter should be smooth and slightly elastic.
