An Apache attack helicopter of the US Army crashed near the Strait of Hormuz. Both the pilots aboard the helicopter were rescued safely. At present it is not clear whether the helicopter was a victim of the Iranian attack, there was a technical fault in it, or the accident occurred due to some other reason. According to the report of American newspaper The New York Times, two officials with knowledge of this incident have confirmed the accident. However, no official statement or update has been issued by the Trump administration on this matter yet.
