Today the Modi government completes 12 years of functioning. On this day, June 9, 2024, Narendra Modi took oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive time. Today 4398 days of his tenure have been completed. Now he has become the Prime Minister with the longest tenure. With this he has broken the record of India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. Nehru was Prime Minister for 4397 consecutive days. On May 13, 1952, he took oath as Prime Minister for the first time.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has written a long and detailed article regarding the 12 years of PM Modi’s work and the impact of his leadership. In this article he has read a lot of praises of PM Modi. He wrote in his article, on June 10, 4399 consecutive days of PM Modi’s tenure will be completed. This shows that crores of people of the country have full faith in the Prime Minister’s way of working.
‘Leadership is different from others, Modi is different from everyone else’
Chandrababu Naidu said that in his 50 years of public life, he has seen many Prime Ministers but PM Modi is different from everyone because along with running a modern governance, he has also enhanced the pride of India’s old culture and civilization. India was very rich and advanced in ancient times. But for a long time after independence, India remained like a sleeping country, forgetting its real identity and strength. After the arrival of PM Modi, India has regained its lost confidence and cultural pride.
He said that today India stands with much more confidence and strategic importance in the global system. India has equal relations with big countries of the world. India is no longer subordinate to any country, but talks shoulder to shoulder with the most powerful countries of the world. India is now working on the principle of India First. He first looks at the benefits of his country and his citizens.
Ancient knowledge also got a new identity
Naidu said that PM Modi has also given a distinct identity to the ancient knowledge systems of India. Combine it with development based on modern technology, digital governance and innovation. This combination of tradition and technology can become an important contribution of India in the 21st century. ‘International Yoga Day’ is the biggest example of this. The worldwide recognition of Yoga is perhaps a testament to how India’s ancient knowledge has gained new recognition as a global force for human well-being.
India’s dominance increased in the whole world
He said that today’s India is proud of its culture. This is the reason why India’s dominance has increased in the entire world. This new strength of India has been created by the excellent combination of old traditions and new technology. During these 12 years of Modi government’s tenure, India has become the fourth largest economy from the 11th largest economy in the world. Its biggest feature was good governance based on strong intentions and the ability to implement them. India achieved a different height through efforts like Digital Public Infrastructure, Jan Dhan Account, Aadhaar Integration, UPI and Direct Benefit Transfer.
‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas…’ the basic mantra
The scale of social change has also been equally important. Crores of Indians have been lifted out of poverty. Investment in rural infrastructure has improved the quality of life for millions of people. The mantra ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’ brought smiles on the faces of crores of people. Despite adverse circumstances, India has moved ahead with strength and stability and has been among the fastest growing major economies. PM Modi has also focused on the country’s long-term development through transformative investments in highways, ports, airports, freight corridors, railways, renewable energy, manufacturing and emerging technologies.
These decisions are not for immediate political gain, but are investments to strengthen the foundation of the country. There has also been an important change in the relations between the Center and the states. States have been given more opportunities to do new things and move forward. States are now being seen as engines of national development rather than just administrative units. Andhra Pradesh has greatly benefited from this development-centric partnership, which includes transformative projects related to infrastructure, industrialization, Amaravati and new technologies.
Right leader at right time for India
Andhra Pradesh CM said that I have often said that Narendra Modi was the right leader at the right time for India. After 12 years, this belief of mine has become even stronger. History will remember this period not just for economic development or political stability, but for something much deeper than that. I believe this is a defining moment for India. This is the beginning of a golden era for our country. I am confident that India will move rapidly towards the goal of ‘Developed India’ by 2047.
