Vastu for Tulsi: Tulsi plant also indicates problems, if you see these changes then be careful!

July 26, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Tulsi Plant Omens: We all have a Tulsi plant in the courtyard or balcony of our homes. In Sanatan Dharma, Tulsi is worshiped as a mother. Tulsi is the center of religious faith and a symbol of happiness and prosperity at home. Vaastu believes that the Tulsi plant takes upon itself whatever troubles come to the house. This is the reason that if any major crisis is about to occur at home, its first effect is seen in the Tulsi plant.

If the Tulsi plant in your house is giving some strange signs, then be alert in time. It is believed that some big problem is going to come in the house or life, then as a sign, some changes start coming in the form of Tulsi plant, so let us know what are those changes in Tulsi, which are considered to be a sign of the arrival of some big trouble in the house or life.

These changes in the Tulsi plant are not considered good

Drying of Basil: According to Vastu Shastra, if the green Tulsi plant is drying up even after taking full care of the house, then it is not considered an auspicious sign for the house at all. A green Tulsi plant suddenly drying up is a sign of serious financial crisis in the house or the arrival of some major disease. Drying of Tulsi plant in the house destroys positive energy and increases negative energy.

Yellowing and falling of leaves: It is not considered good for the leaves of the Tulsi plant at home to turn yellow and fall continuously. This is a sign of increasing discord, mental stress and the influence of negative energy in the house. When basil leaves start falling without any change in weather, it can lead to sour relations between family members.

Fungus or insect infestation: Generally, the Tulsi plant does not get affected by insects or fungus easily, but if suddenly the Tulsi plant starts rotting and insects start appearing in it, then it is considered to be a sign of Pitra Dosh or evil eye of some planet. This indicates huge losses in the workplace and business in the coming time.
