Tulsi Plant Vastu Guide: Tulsi plant is considered very sacred in Hindu religion. We all have a Tulsi plant planted in the courtyard of our house and this plant is worshiped as our mother as per rituals. There is a Hindu religious belief that Goddess Lakshmi resides in this plant. Worshiping this plant brings happiness and prosperity in the house. The house is filled with wealth and grains. Tulsi is very dear to Lord Vishnu. In the house where Tulsi is worshiped as per the rituals, the blessings of Lord Vishnu always remain there.

Even in Vastu Shastra, Tulsi plant is considered very special. It tells about its correct direction and place to keep it. Tulsi plant has been a precious part of Hindu traditions since ancient times. This plant always attracts good energy and purifies the environment, but many times a question comes to mind regarding this plant that can more than one Tulsi plant be planted in the house? Let us know what has been said in Vastu Shastra regarding this?

You can plant more than one Tulsi in the house

In Vastu Shastra, it is allowed to plant more than one Tulsi plant in the house. That is, it is auspicious to plant more than one Tulsi plant in the house, but try to plant them in odd numbers, such as 3, 5 or 7 plants together. Do not plant too many basil plants. Because by doing this, all the Tulsi plants are not taken care of properly, due to which the full results of its worship are not achieved.

Right direction to plant basil plant

It is always auspicious to plant a Tulsi plant in the east direction of the house. This plant can be planted only in the north-east direction i.e. north-east corner. A Tulsi plant planted in the right direction always brings good energy to the house. Never plant this plant in the south direction. Because this is considered the direction of ancestors and Yama.

Rules for planting basil

Always plant Tulsi in the courtyard or balcony of the house. Keep it in a clean place. Do not plant the Tulsi plant in the wrong direction of the house even by mistake. This may cause loss instead of profit. Keep in mind that the basil plant planted in the house should never dry up. Offer water in it regularly except on Sunday and Ekadashi.
