Jantar Mantar Protest: Amidst the ongoing nationwide protests over alleged rigging in the NEET exam, a big update has come out from Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. After the news of resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, students and protesters gathered at Jantar Mantar celebrated vigorously. Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Deepke called it a big victory for democracy.
Addressing the supporters and students from the stage, Deepke said, ‘They used to say that there are no resignations in this government, but I say – the world bends, we need someone to bend it. We have done this.” Expressing happiness at Jantar Mantar, he dedicated this victory to those students who lost their lives under the stress of NEET controversy.

Two other major demands of CJP
After the first demand of resignation of the Education Minister has been fulfilled, ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ has intensified the pressure on its remaining two demands. A compensation of Rs 1 crore each should be given to the families of all the deceased students who committed suicide. All the cases registered against the protesting students and student leaders across the country during the movement should be immediately withdrawn.
Abhijit Deepke said, “We are cockroaches, we are not going to go away so soon. In democracy, there is no need to be afraid, we have to learn to speak.” CJP made it clear in a post on its official social media handle that the struggle will continue until the remaining two demands are met.
