The India Story Box Office Collection: Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade’s film ‘The India Story: Slow Poison in Progress’ was released in theaters this week. There was a fair amount of buzz about this film before its release. The increasing use of poisonous pesticides and chemicals in farming and the serious health problems caused by it like cancer and the purity of food is at stake. But after its release the audience is yearning for it. The film has performed very poorly in theaters in the first two days. Even after two days have passed, the film has not even touched the Rs 50 lakh mark.
‘The India Story‘Box office information has been given by Sacknilk. It is reported that the film has earned around Rs 25 lakh on the second day i.e. on Saturday. Earlier, the film had collected around Rs 16 lakh on the opening day on Friday. The net collection of the film in India in two days was only Rs 41 lakh. Its worldwide earning has been Rs 46 lakh. In such a situation, Sunday i.e. today is very important for the film.
‘The India Story’ flopped?
On the third day of its release, ‘The India Story’ is being called a flop. The reason behind this is that this film has been made with a budget of around Rs 20 to 30 crores. All four have failed at the box office and most importantly, they have not even crossed the Rs 50 lakh mark in the first two days. This indicates that it is going to be difficult for the film to even find its budget.
Who’s who in ‘The India Story’?
‘The India Story’ is directed by Chetan DK and produced by Sagar B Shinde. Apart from Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade, actors like Murali Sharma, Manish Wadhwa, Trisha Sarda, Atul Tiwari, Kamlesh Sawant and Sham Mashalkar are also seen in important roles in the film. The shooting of this film started in January last year and was completed in October. Apart from Hindi, the film has also been released in Tamil and Telugu.
