Sonam Wangchuk gets support from Digvijay Chautala, will support Jantar Mantar protest on 17th July

Youth State President of Jannayak Janata Party Digvijay Singh Chautala has come out against the continuous paper leaks in the examinations in the country. Chautala has announced that on July 17 at 11 am, he will go to Jantar Mantar in Delhi to give strength to Sonam Wangchuk who is on hunger strike. Chautala said that Sonam Wangchuk, concerned about education and the future of the youth, is continuously sitting on hunger strike. With this in mind, he has given his support to this demonstration and dharna regarding the future of the young generation.

Digvijay Singh Chautala said that due to the misgovernance of BJP, papers are being leaked continuously, due to which the young generation is worried about their future. Today, it is the responsibility of all of us to support the country’s revolutionary Sonam Wangchuk who is on hunger strike regarding education and paper leak, so that we all can fight this battle strongly and secure the rights of the youth and education and examinations.

Sonam Wangchuk on hunger strike for many days

Praising Sonam Wangchuk, Digvijay said that people with revolutionary ideas like Sonam Wangchuk are not the ones to back down. We are proud that Sonam Wangchuk is concerned about the education of the country and is fighting against the dictatorial BJP government, we all are with her. Actually, climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has been on hunger strike for the last several days and her weight is continuously falling, which is a matter of concern.

Hearing postponed till tomorrow

At the same time, Delhi High Court said on Wednesday that it will hear a public interest litigation (PIL) on July 16. In this petition, immediate medical help has been demanded for Sonam Wangchuk. Describing the matter as ‘urgent’, the bench of Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyay and Justice Tejas Karia has asked the Center and Delhi government to present their stand by July 16. Due to the absence of the central government lawyer, the court postponed the hearing of the case till July 16.

This development has come to light after a petition filed by lawyer Rakesh Kumar Saini. Appearing himself, he said, ‘This is a very sad situation. A social activist, who is protesting using his fundamental right amid strong criticism of the government. In fact, he is taking a step like suicide in front of the entire country.
