Shiv Aarti for Sawan: The holy month of Saavan is starting from tomorrow. According to Drik Panchang, Saavan, which will start tomorrow i.e. from 30th July, will remain till the full moon day of August 28th. Sawan is dedicated to Shiva devotion. In this month there is a huge crowd of devotees in temples and pagodas. Devotees worship their deity with proper rituals and perform Jalabhishek. Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva has special significance in Sawan.
In Saavan, along with temples, people also worship Lord Shiva in their homes with rituals. Chant mantras. Aarti is recited in Shiva puja. It is very important to recite Aarti while worshiping Lord Shiva. Reciting Aarti at the end of the puja pleases Mahadev and removes all sorrows and troubles.
