PM Modi’s big campaign against drugs, 1 crore youth will take pledge to become drug free

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken the command to ensure that the youth of developed India become drug free. On August 2, 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the national campaign “Drug Free Youth for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan”. We will also inspire the youth of the country to build a drug-free India. This campaign will run for the next 100 weeks.

On the call of the Prime Minister, this campaign will start as a mass movement by the youth of MY Bharat based on widespread public participation. The objective of which is to connect the youth of the country with an organized national campaign against drugs. Union Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that for this, more and more youth will have to be involved so that a better young generation can be created. He said that the youth of the country will join this call of the Prime Minister for national interest and will become an active part of the “Drug Free Youth for Viksit Bharat” campaign.

Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya said that inspired by the Prime Minister’s address, about 10,000 places across the country will join together. Also, more than 1 crore youth will participate in this national resolution. To make this entire event successful, people from 125 religious institutions will join with MY Bharat Volunteers, NSS, Youth Club, School, College, University, NGO, Industrial Association. Due to which this campaign will take the form of a strong public participation movement.

More than 1 crore youth will take pledge to become drug free

Under this national campaign organized under the leadership of the Prime Minister, more than 1 crore youth will take a pledge to become drug free and dedicate themselves to serve the nation as Nasha Mukti Yuva Volunteers. Under this, every Sunday across the country, the message of de-addiction will be given to the youth through sports, meditation, cultural programs and street plays. So that the positive energy of the youth is used in nation building and they stay away from social evils like drug addiction.

Viksit Bharat 2047 resolution

This campaign will strengthen the resolve of Viksit Bharat 2047 by taking forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Nasha Mukt Bharat” through public participation. The clear message of the Prime Minister is that “Drug-free Youth are the greatest strength of Viksit Bharat.” Through this campaign this message will be conveyed to every youth of the country.
