Some protesters gathered inside the Metro complex and raised slogans, while security personnel near Patel Chowk station used mild force to disperse the people.

Addressing the House, Kharge said, “This is a matter related to students; I am speaking about the future of lakhs of children. Because of this, thousands of students have gathered at Jantar Mantar. There has been lathicharge there. The government is trying to use force, suppress voices and drive by. Drive them away.”

Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, including Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh and Atishi, reached Jantar Mantar to take part in the Parliament march. Earlier, Manish Sisodia had appealed to people from all political parties to join the proposed march to Parliament, and urged citizens to show solidarity with the youth of the country. Samajwadi Party leader Dimple Yadav also came in support of the protesters.
CJP workers said that they are ready for talks with the government. CJP worker Saurav Das said, the administration is trying to start talks with the government. He has come very late, but we have opened our hearts and said that we are ready to talk to him.
CJP leaders met Nadda
