In the trailer, Ranbir Kapoor was seen as Ram, Yash was seen as Ravana, Arun Govil was seen as Dasharatha, Ravi Dubey was seen as Laxman – apart from these, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi was seen and Rakulpreet Singh as Shurpanakha was also seen but once again Sunny Deol as Hanuman was not seen. Since Hanuman, despite being a servant, is a major majestic character in Ramayana, he will be kept in separate focus. And if Sunny Deol is playing that character then anyway the expectation of attention will be different.

Let us tell you that Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari have tried to make this project suitable for global scale with a huge budget of around Rs 4000 crores.
