Ram Temple offering theft: After Champat Rai, Anil Mishra, SIT now eyes Govind Dev, will it tighten the noose?

A big news is coming out in the case of theft of offerings from Ram temple in Ayodhya. After Champat Rai, Anil Mishra, now the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has its eyes on Trust Treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri. According to sources, SIT investigated the role of Trust Treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri. The responsibilities of Champat Rai, Dr. Anil Mishra and Gopal Rao as well as the Treasurer have also been included in the investigation.

According to sources, a thorough investigation was conducted into the financial management of the Trust and the system of management of offerings. The administrative and financial duties of the Treasurer were reviewed in depth. Besides, related records have also been examined and many people have been interrogated. However, it is not yet known as to how long the SIT has interrogated which people. According to sources, SIT has prepared a report on this entire matter.

Special attention on the role of Swami Govind Dev Giri

Let us tell you that on June 13, a SIT consisting of three officers was formed. The team visited Ayodhya for the first time on 15 June. After submitting the preliminary report to the government, a detailed investigation was conducted for two days in Ayodhya in July. During the July tour, special attention was paid to the role of Swami Govind Dev Giri. During this time, SIT also visited Vaidehi Bhawan in Ayodhya. The Mahants and servants were questioned about their stay and the arrangements made.

Verification of facts and records of Govind Dev

The SIT team collected information on the accommodation arrangements and other related aspects of Swami Govind Dev Giri. The role of the Treasurer in managing offerings and monitoring finances was assessed. The facts and records related to Swami Govind Dev Giri were verified. The SIT is likely to submit its final report to the government within two days. According to sources, after receiving the report, the government will submit it to the Supreme Court in a sealed envelope. The final report will reveal the roles and accountabilities of the Trust officials.
