Ram temple offering theft: ADA action against accused Luvkush Mishra’s house, 7 days’ grace to wife

July 15, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) has taken action on the under-construction house of Lavkush Mishra, accused in the Ram Temple offering theft case, after which the accused’s wife Supriya Mishra reached the ADA office with her daughter and father on Wednesday and submitted an application to the authority regarding the incomplete records related to the under-construction house in Sahadatganj area. Supriya Mishra demanded one month’s time to provide all the necessary documents related to the house. Although ADA did not accept the demand of one month, but did give them 7 days’ time.

Ayodhya Development Authority directed that Supriya Mishra should present all the valid records and files related to the house within the stipulated time. Actually, ADA had issued the first notice on July 3 regarding the under-construction house of accused Lavkush Mishra. After this, a second notice was issued, the last date of which was fixed as July 15 and it was pasted as the final notice. It is being said that now if valid documents are not presented within the prescribed 7 days, then the authority can take further action as per rules and seal the house.

The land is registered in the name of Lavkush Mishra’s wife.

According to reports, the plot on which the house is being built is registered in the name of Supriya Mishra, wife of Luvkush Mishra. Lavkush Mishra is currently in jail for allegedly embezzling donated funds. Rajesh Pandey, owner of the house next to Lavkush Mishra, said that ADA had pasted a notice on Lavkush Mishra’s house on Tuesday. Lavkush Mishra had purchased this land in December and construction work on it started in February this year.

The embezzlement case came to light on June 7

This case of alleged embezzlement in donations to Ram Temple came to light on June 7, the investigation of which is still going on. According to investigators, Lavkush Mishra was among the eight people who were involved in the donation-counting process of the temple. These people were arrested on 26 June. This arrest was made after the FIR registered on June 25 on the basis of the preliminary report of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted by the Uttar Pradesh government. Those arrested include Anukalp Mishra, Lavkush Mishra, Ram Shankar Yadav ‘Tinnu’, Manish Yadav, Subhash Srivastava, Avinash Shukla, Rama Shankar Mishra and Karunesh Pandey.
