Ram Charan and his wife Upasana were recently seen at the airport. According to reports, the actor had left for Coimbatore for his surgery. Now reports are coming out that his wrist surgery was successful and Ram Charan is currently recovering. Information had come to light that the cartilage of Ram Charan’s wrist was torn while doing a fight scene during the shoot of the film ‘Peddi’.
Ram Charan had postponed his surgery for a few days due to the promotion of the film, although the actor was seen wearing a bandage on his wrist during events. According to the information, the actor’s surgery has been done using minimally invasive technique.
Ram Charan is recovering
According to the report, Ram Charan’s surgery has been successful. Along with this, it has also been said in the reports that considering the seriousness of the injury, a surgeon was called from America for the surgery. The actor is now recovering, although it will take time to recover completely and only then will he return to work.
Ram Charan got himself checked after getting injured during the shoot of ‘Peddi’. After which, to ensure his complete recovery and to avoid any problems due to injury in the future, the doctor advised him to undergo surgery.

His opposite actress Janhvi Kapoor has been seen in Ram Charan’s film Peddi. This film also came into controversies due to some scenes. However these scenes were removed. After its release, it got a good response from the audience, due to which its box office collection was good. This film earned a lot especially in Telugu.
The film is out on OTT
‘Peddi’ was released in theaters on June 4, 2026. After the theatrical run, it has been released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on OTT platform Netflix on July 9, 2026. No official announcement has come out for the Hindi version also.
