Put Pakistan in a strong position
Pakistan had a bad start. Opener Ajan Awais was bowled without opening the account. But after this, Shan Masood along with Imam Ul Haq gave a befitting reply to West Indies by making a partnership of 155 runs. Imam played an important inning of 63 runs. After Imam’s dismissal, he along with Babar Azam added 41 runs but captain Babar was out after scoring 23 runs. But Shan Masood remained at the crease and completed his century.
This is Shan Masood’s 7th Test century but his performance in Tests is very poor. This left-handed batsman has scored runs in 47 tests at an average of just 30.49. Meaning this player has failed a lot. However, Shan Masood has batted well in the last two seasons.
