Only a married person will get the right to live in MP: CM Mohan Yadav

Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav has given a big statement. Addressing a meeting in Katni, the Chief Minister said, when one country, one constitution, one symbol, then why should the Hindu law be different and the Muslim law different? There should be one law for all. If Ram marries once, why should Rahim marry two, three or four? Only the one who marries will get the right to live in the state.

The CM said that under the proposed UCC, only a married person will have the right to reside in the state. If someone gives triple talaq, he will be sent behind bars. The era of triple talaq is now over.

We are all children of Mother India

CM said that we want that no citizen should be discriminated against in the state. We all are children of Mother India. In such a situation the question of discrimination does not arise. We are going to present this bill in the coming monsoon session. Before bringing the bill in the Assembly, we will approve it in the meeting to be held in Jagdishpur, Bhopal.

Let us tell you that the state government is preparing to present the UCC Bill in the monsoon session starting from July 20. In this, there is a proposal to make uniform laws regarding marriage, divorce, maintenance, inheritance and registration of live-in relationships. Tribal communities and some nomadic castes will be kept out of the scope of this proposed UCC.

Maulana Efrahim Hussain supported the statement

Mohan Yadav’s statement has been supported by UP’s royal Chief Mufti Maulana Chaudhary Efrahim Hussain. Maulana said that Mohan Yadav’s statement is commendable. Islam also wants that injustice should not be done to anyone. When you cannot do justice to one wife then you have no right to marry another. Islam talks about justice and equality.

He said that being unfair to someone is against Islam. If someone discriminates against his wife by having multiple marriages or does not respect her rights, then it is against Islam. Therefore Mohan Yadav’s statement is in accordance with the basic spirit of Islam. His statement should be welcomed.
