Why is the Pakistani government doing this?
1. According to the report, the economic condition of Pakistan is not good. Due to this the issue of inflation dominates there. People are troubled by debt. The Government of Pakistan has no solution to these issues. This is the reason why the government of Pakistan has focused on foreign policy.
2. The government of Pakistan has received aid amounting to 3 billion dollars from Saudi Arabia. Due to friendship with Egypt and Türkiye, its relations with America have also improved. Pakistan has asked for $10 billion aid from America. Pakistan is also expected to get money from Türkiye and Egypt.
3. Violence is currently going on in Balochistan, Khyber and PoK of Pakistan. The government of Pakistan is weaponizing foreign policy to divert attention from this. The government is trying to grab headlines in the international media through its foreign policy. So that there is no discussion on internal issues.
Asim Munir is taking all the big decisions
It has been said in the report that Asim Munir is taking all the major decisions. At the behest of Munir, the Government of Pakistan participated in mediation in Iran matters. Munir’s effort is to woo both America and China. However, due to internal conflict the situation of the army in Pakistan is not good.
The opposition is also against the army at this time. On one hand, the big face of opposition, Imran Khan, is in jail. On the other hand, former Home Minister Fazal ur Rehman has opened a front against the army. Recently Fazal Ur said in a statement that army men die for money.
