Motorola has launched the new Motorola Edge 70 Max smartphone, this is the fifth model of the company’s Edge 70 series. Launched in three color options, this phone has been launched with the octa core Snapdragon 8 series chipset which is also used in IQoo 15R and OnePlus 15R. This latest phone coming with Android 16 operating system will have AMOLED display, 144 Hz refresh rate. Apart from this, the company claims about the battery that this phone gives a battery life of up to 58 hours.
Motorola Edge 70 Max Price in India
The base variant of this latest Motorola smartphone has 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, the price of this variant has been fixed at Rs 54999. Whereas, the price of 12 GB RAM and 256 GB variant has been fixed at Rs 59,999. In this price range, this phone will give tough competition to models like Xiaomi 17T, Oppo Reno 16, Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini and Pixel 10A.
There is also an instant bank card discount of Rs 5000 on select bank credit cards. The sale of the phone will start from July 20 on Flipkart and Motorola’s online store. You will get this phone in Pantone Dark Shadow, Pantone Aqua Gray and Pantone Ice Melt colors.

- OS: This latest phone with dual SIM works on Hello UI based on Android 16. The company has promised that this device will continue to get OS upgrades for three years and security updates for five years.
- Screen: This handset has a 6.8 inch Quad HD Plus Extreme AMOLED display, you will get this phone with peak brightness up to 7000 nits, refresh rate up to 144Hz, touch sampling rate up to 360Hz. Apart from this, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i has been used to protect the screen. There is also water touch support for better touch response from wet fingers.
- Chipset: 3nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 octa core chipset has been used in the phone, along with it a vapor chamber cooling system has also been installed which helps in keeping the phone cool.
- Camera: The rear part of the phone has a 50 megapixel primary Sony LYT-710 camera sensor, 8 megapixel ultra wide camera sensor. A 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor will be available in the front. This phone is capable of recording 4K at 60fps.
- Battery: To bring life to the phone, a powerful battery of 7100 mAh has been provided which supports 90 Watt wired and 25 Watt wireless charging. Apart from this, this phone also supports 5 watt wired reverse charge.
- Connectivity: This phone supports features like 5G, Wi-Fi 7, USB Type C port, Bluetooth version 6, GLONASS.
