Medical education will be cheaper in MP for meritorious students… Fees will be one-third less if they come in merit.

There is news of great relief for students who dream of becoming doctors. Medical education in Madhya Pradesh is going to be affordable for the meritorious students who get place in NEET merit. There is a possibility of one-third reduction in the fees of merit students. On the other hand, due to increase in seats, merit students in NEET exam will get admission in more number of government and private medical colleges.

NEET aspirants got merit due to this Madhya Pradesh You will get the double benefit of increased number of seats and lower fees in medical colleges. At the same time, admission of students under management quota will be done on the basis of NEET merit through counseling conducted by the state government.

Seats increased for merit students in 2026

In Madhya Pradesh, seats have been increased for merit students in medical colleges in the year 2026 as compared to the year 2023. While in the year 2023, the total available seats in medical colleges of the state were 4675, out of which 2275 seats were available in government colleges and 2400 seats were available in private colleges. Out of these, a total of 4315 seats were reserved for merit students, out of which 2215 seats were kept in government colleges and 2040 seats were kept in private colleges.

Total available seats in medical colleges are 6020

After increasing these in the year 2026, the total available seats in medical colleges became 6020, out of which 3020 seats were kept available in government colleges and 3000 seats were kept available in private colleges. Thus, a total of 4520 seats were kept available for merit students in the year 2026, out of which 3020 seats in government colleges and 1500 seats in private colleges were fixed for merit students.
