Japanese company invested ₹ 1100 crore, foundation stone of Vardhaman-Aichi Steel Project laid

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann laid the foundation stone of Bardhaman-Aichi Steel Project under Mission East West Punjab. For this, a state level program was organized in Kohara village of Sahnewal (Ludhiana). Senior officials of Aichi Steel Company of Japan and officials of Vardhman Company participated in this program and inaugurated the project.

Chief Minister Honor Said that the industry had left Punjab, but now the time has come when the foundation of various industries is being laid again. He said that earlier there was no working environment here, but now we have met industrialists from different countries and abroad and invited them to come to Punjab.

Industrialists were invited

Giving information about Aichi Steel, Chief Minister Mann said that Aichi company supplies steel for vehicles like Toyota Fortuner. He told that today the foundation stone of the forging unit of this company is being laid. During this, he welcomed and thanked the representatives of Aichi Steel in Japanese language.

Invest 1100 crores

Chief Minister Mann said that Vardhaman and Aichi Steel Company had signed contracts worth Rs 500 crore during his visit to Japan, but when the people of Aichi Steel Company saw the environment, quality of work and labor in the industry here, they approved 1100 projects. He said that it is being inaugurated today.

Supply both within the country and abroad

The Chief Minister said that now high value parts of the automobile industry will be made here. He said that these will be supplied to our country, Europe, ASEAN countries, Africa and Mexico. Chief Minister Mann said that we have prepared our industrial policy in consultation with the businessmen of the industry and have taken necessary measures to run every work smoothly.

New Industrial Revolution in Punjab

Punjab’s Industries and Commerce Minister Aman Arora said that a new beginning is taking place in Punjab’s industrial revolution. He said that in the last four and a half years, a wonderful environment has been created in the industrial sector. He told that just seven months ago, Chief Minister Mann and other representatives had gone to Japan and within just seven months this idea was implemented.
