The ongoing agitation in Delhi’s Jantar Mantar demanding the paper leak and resignation of the Education Minister is continuously gaining momentum. Yesterday Wednesday evening once again thousands of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) supporters gathered at Jantar Mantar. Due to huge crowd gathering there again an incident of stone pelting took place. Due to this many people including two ACPs were injured.
There was a ruckus between the protesters and the police till late night, although by morning the situation seemed normal there. There are still a large number of people present there. Every activity of the protesters is being monitored by Delhi Police through drones. Along with this, slogans are also being raised against Delhi Police and Government.
The protesters covered their faces
The protesters created a ruckus at the red light throughout the night and tried to remove the police barricade. Delhi Police officers were seen manning the barricade throughout the night. However, the faces of some protesters were seen covered. Many people tried to hide their identities. For this, someone had worn a Spider-Man mask and someone had tied a handkerchief on his face.

Today is the 34th day of protest at Jantar Mantar. But for the last 4 nights, the hustle and bustle here has become very intense and the crowd at Jantar Mantar is continuously increasing. Thousands of CJP supporters were present even in the morning.
Goons sent from outside are spoiling the atmosphere: Dipke
Abhijeet Dipke says that till now the protest was peaceful, but after a month, goons have been sent from outside, who are spoiling the atmosphere. These people are external anarchists. He says that the talks will take place at Jantar Mantar only.
Earlier, by around 8 pm last night, the number of protesters at Jantar Mantar had increased to 3 to 4 thousand and it kept increasing till late night. Meanwhile, according to the police, a large number of ‘anti-social elements’ gathered there. There were some people in the crowd of these protesters who first tried to break the barricade and then started pelting stones at the police. After this, the police had to use mild force to control the angry crowd.
During this clash, 5 policemen were also injured, including 2 ACPs, 2 Inspectors and a constable. Many protesters have also been injured. This crowd had gathered in front of the NDMC building at Jantar Mantar, Tolstoy Marg and Sansad Marg in New Delhi. If sources are to be believed, the police talked to CJP leaders Saurabh Das and Ashutosh Ranka to calm the atmosphere, but the crowd did not listen to them either.
According to the police, similar clashes have been going on between the police and the RAF for the last two days. Police are getting inputs that some anti-social elements are also coming in the crowd in the evening and these outsiders are increasing the tension by creating ruckus.
20 companies of security forces came from West Bengal
Earlier, a police source said that the injured policemen were immediately taken to the nearest hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. The condition of all the policemen is stable. In the first incident, around 4.30 pm, protesters pelted stones and a stone hit ACP Jai Prakash on his forehead, injuring him, a statement issued by the police said. Sources said that later another incident of stone pelting took place in which another ACP and at least four policemen were injured.
To keep the situation under control, 20 more companies of CRPF from West Bengal have been called to Delhi and after reaching here, they have reported to Delhi Police. These companies will be deployed with anti riot weapons and Stun Shell will also be there. At present, teams of Delhi Police, CRPF and RAF with anti-rights gear have been deployed around Jantar Mantar.
