America attacks Iran for the 12th consecutive day…now targets bridge-power plant

July 23, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Military attacks continue between America and Iran. America targeted many cities of Iran for the 12th consecutive day. According to Iran’s government media, America targeted areas near the cities of Ahwaz, Ramshir and Andimesk in western Iran with missiles. During this time, two people also lost their lives during the American attack in Shalamcheh city.

After the attack on Tehran, the statement of the American Central Command has also come out. He said that the purpose of our attack is to further reduce Iran’s ability to pose a threat to ordinary sailors and commercial ships passing through the sea in the area. The US is trying to regain control of the Strait of Hormuz and restore international shipping.

Trump had threatened Iran

President Trump had warned Iran by posting the truth on social media on Wednesday, July 22. Donald Trump had said that whenever Iran fires at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, the US will destroy one of its bridges or power plants.

Trump wrote on social media, ‘From now on, whenever the Islamic Republic of Iran fires at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, whether with a missile, rocket, drone or any other device or weapon, the United States will destroy it by dropping a bomb on a bridge or power plant.’

Iran said – will adopt tit-for-tat policy

In response to Trump’s tweet, Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said that his country will adopt a ‘tit-for-tat’ defense policy. Posting on X on Wednesday, he wrote that any aggression against Iran, including an attack on our infrastructure, will force a powerful and decisive response.

Attacks on infrastructure began

Iran and America have now started attacking civilians and infrastructure against each other. America targeted power plants, bridges and desalination plants in Iran. At the same time, in Iran also the desalination plants of Kuwait and Qatar were attacked.

Petrol and diesel prices are also increasing

The world economy has suffered a setback due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Apart from this, another important trade route is in danger due to the new threat from Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen to target Saudi ships in the Red Sea. Amidst all this, the price of Brent crude oil has increased to more than $ 93 per barrel. It was less than $ 72 per barrel at the beginning of this month, which was almost equal to the price before the war. Petrol prices are also increasing.

37.5 billion dollars spent so far in the war

America is also suffering huge losses due to the war. On July 22, the bodies of 4 US Army soldiers were brought to Dover Air Force Base. A day earlier, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had estimated at a Senate hearing that the country’s war with Iran had cost the country $37.5 billion.
