
A woman threw ink on Cockroach Janata Party founder Abhijit Dipke while he was addressing a large gathering at Jantar Mantar. This incident led to a brief halt in the program as supporters ran towards the stage and created chaos. At present, the identity of the woman and the motive behind this action are not known. This incident happened a few hours after Sonam Wangchuk was removed from Jantar Mantar and taken to Safdarjung Hospital.
Wangchuk was on an indefinite hunger strike against irregularities in the examinations and NEET paper leak. Wangchuk was removed from the stage 48 hours before his planned march to Parliament. This march was to take place on Monday, the first day of the monsoon session.

Wangchuk admitted to hospital
Delhi Police admitted Wangchuk to Safdarjung Hospital as his health deteriorated during the 20-day indefinite hunger strike. There was some chaos during this action which took place early in the morning, as some protesters tried to obstruct the police action.
Wangchuk was on an indefinite hunger strike since June 28 in support of the CJP-led protests against irregularities in the NEET exam. Doctors monitoring him said that during the fast, his weight had reduced by about 9.5 kg, while his blood pressure and blood sugar levels were also at low levels.

Gitanjali J., wife of activist Sonam Wangchuk. Angmo said, “The High Court order never mentioned hospitalization. It simply said that a person’s health is of utmost importance and should be monitored from time to time. There was no order for hospitalization. Therefore, it is not in accordance with the High Court order. No treatment is going on right now.”
