According to the report of 9to5Google, Google’s Vice President of Devices and Services Shakeel Barkat has said that the RAM supply crisis is affecting the entire tech industry. According to him, while the price of 1GB RAM was $2.8 in 2025, it will increase to $12 in 2026. For this reason, the company can change the price of Pixel 11 series. He says that the prices will be decided according to the supply situation.
Which models will be launched
Google’s new Pixel 11 series is expected to include Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. According to the report, the 256GB variant of the standard Pixel 11 can start at 999 Euros in Europe. Whereas the starting price of Pixel 11 Pro is said to be 1,199 Euro and the starting price of Pixel 11 Pro XL is said to be 1,399 Euro. The company will present all these smartphones in the Made by Google event to be held on August 13.
Old pixel phones can also be expensive
The report also says that the change in prices will not be limited to just the new Pixel 11 series. This may affect Google’s entire Pixel family. This means that in the coming time, the existing Pixel 10 series and other Pixel models may also become expensive.
