Sonam Wangchuk’s wife Geetanjali Agmo moved the Delhi High Court. Geetanjali has demanded that Sonam Wangchuk should be shifted to a private hospital in Delhi instead of Safdarjung Hospital. Geetanjali said that she does not trust Safdarjung Hospital. Geetanjali has demanded a hearing on her petition from the Delhi High Court today itself. Let us tell you that Sonam’s fast is continuing from the hospital also. Today is the 22nd day of his hunger strike. He was admitted to Safdarganj hospital on 18 July.
Some time ago, Sonam Wangchuk’s health bulletin has been issued from Safdarjung Hospital, in which it has been told that her condition is stable but she needs to be kept under strict observation at the moment. There have been changes in his blood parameters. His health was continuously deteriorating due to the fast. Sonam Wangchuk was on hunger strike for 20 consecutive days. Yesterday i.e. Saturday was the 21st day of his fast.
