In this historic innings, Duckett hit 18 fours and 1 six. He returned to the pavilion after getting out in the 44th over of the innings, but by then he had written a new history at Lord’s.
This is the fourth century of Ben Duckett’s ODI career, and with this he has become the batsman to play the biggest innings in the history of ODI cricket at Lord’s. He has broken the 47-year-old record of the great West Indies batsman Sir Viv Richards, who had scored unbeaten 138 runs against England in the 1979 World Cup final.
