Government oil company Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has started a new premium LPG service for customers named Bharatgas Lite ZIP. The aim of this service is to provide people with facilities like lighter gas cylinder, quick new connection and fast delivery. Currently, it has been started from Mumbai, but the company says that by August 15, 2026, it will be started in 100 cities of 24 states of the country. With this, a large number of customers will benefit from new technology and better service.
The biggest feature of Bharatgas Lite ZIP is its composite LPG cylinder. This cylinder is much lighter than the steel cylinder, so it will be easy to lift it and carry it from one place to another. This cylinder can prove to be more convenient especially for the elderly, women and small families. Apart from this, this cylinder does not rust, hence its lifespan is also longer and there is less need to worry about maintenance.
How much gas is left will be visible from outside
Another special thing about this new cylinder is that its outer part is transparent. That means customers will be able to see how much gas is left in the cylinder without even opening it. With this, the gas will be exhausted in advance and there will be no problem of the cylinder emptying suddenly. The company claims that special attention has been paid to safety in the new design, making it safer than traditional cylinders.

BPCL has prepared this service keeping in mind today’s fast-paced life. Now customers will not have to wait much to get a new LPG connection and the delivery of the cylinder will also be done faster than before. The company believes that this will make the customer experience better than before.
