In the meeting of ‘Panch Ramanandiya’ Nirmohi Akhara held in Delhi on 5th July, Mahant Dinendra Das was removed from Nirmohi Akhara. Such a claim is being made. Mahant Ramchandracharya presided over the meeting held in Delhi. It is being told that during the meeting, serious allegations were made against the trustee of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Mahant Dinendra Das, due to which questions were raised on his mental health.
Actually, an important thing has come to light from a petition filed by Nirmohi Akhara. According to the petition, on July 5, a meeting of the ‘Panches’ (senior council members) of the Akhara was held in Delhi, in which 13 members attended. President (chief) Mahant Ramchandracharya was also among them. Five resolutions were passed in the meeting, one of which was related to the removal of ‘Mahant’ Dinendra Das of Nirmohi Akhara in Ayodhya.
Mahant Ramachandracharya presented this proposal and it was passed with the consent of eight ‘saints’. In fact, Nirmohi Akhara has officially removed Mahant Dinendra Das. It is noteworthy that he got a place in the Ram Mandir Trust mainly because he was the ‘Mahant’ of the Nirmohi Akhara. After this decision of Nirmohi Akhara, Dinendra Das will no longer work as the representative of Nirmohi Akhara. Now the question arises, is he still eligible to hold the post of trustee? The notes released after the meeting have also revealed the discord within the Nirmohi Akhara.

On the other hand, according to a media report, Mahant Dinendra Das had earlier said that despite there being clear instructions regarding Nirmohi Akhara in the Supreme Court’s decision in favor of the temple, he has been sidelined and has not been given any important responsibility yet. Now, if he is given the responsibility of handling the arrangements of worship in the temple, he is ready to perform it.
Go to temple daily to maintain the system
However, he said that at present, the arrangements for worship in the temple are going on smoothly as per Ramanandi tradition. He also goes to the temple daily to look after the arrangements for the darshan of Ram Lala. Overall, there has been a lot of improvement in management. Strict monitoring and security measures are now being taken to count the offerings, and the amount collected daily is being deposited in the bank.
