Raghav Juyal Bhai Tera Star Hai: Raghav Juyal’s much awaited film ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’ is in the news these days, which has been released in theaters on 30 July 2026. Raghav is playing a solo lead role for the first time in this comedy-drama film. Many digital creators like Sanjay Kapoor, Nikki Walia, Niharika NM, Jordan Indian and Vikalp Mehta will also be seen in the film. Meanwhile, the film’s director and producer Vivek B Aggarwal told why he chose Raghav for the lead role and how the film came to be named ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’.
In an interview given to News9 Digital, Vivek B Aggarwal told that initially the title of the film was something else, but after spending time with Raghav Juyal, his perspective changed. The director spoke openly about the film and told why he chose Raghav Juyal as the hero in this film.
Raghav was the first choice
Vivek B Aggarwal said, “This title is completely based on attitude. I had never thought that this would be the name of the film. But when I got to know Raghav closely and understood his journey, I felt that there could be no better title than ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’. Raghav adopted the character of Ajay Singh so well that it became difficult to differentiate between the two.”
Vivek B Aggarwal told that the title of the film came from a song. He said, “I was working on the opening song with Amit Trivedi and lyricist Kumar. One day they called me to the studio and played me the song, the hook line of which was ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’. The lyrics of that song completely describe Raghav’s life. After listening to the song, I felt that there could not be a better title than this.”
Raghav is a great actor
Talking about the decision to cast Raghav in the lead role, Vivek B Aggarwal said that he did not make this film with the help of any big studio. “I have made this film as an independent filmmaker. There was no studio with me, nor any music label. Despite this, I made this film because I have full faith in Raghav. He is a brilliant actor.”
Making a film without a star is risky
He admitted that making a film without a big star is definitely risky, but someone has to step up. He said, “Not everyone gets big stars and even big stars are not a guarantee of a hit film. If you have faith in yourself and your actor, then you should move ahead. The film should be made intelligently. I have not made a period film worth Rs 100 crore, but have made a light and funny film related to today’s youth, with which people will be able to connect easily.”
