West Indies squad for Pakistan Tests: West Indies has announced its 15-member strong team for the two-match Test series against Pakistan to be played on home soil. Bishop and McKenzie got a big opportunity

Left arm spinner Joshua Bishop, who has been consistently performing brilliantly in first class cricket, has received the first Test call-up of his career. Bishop has taken 119 wickets in 25 first-class matches at an excellent average of 23.90. He has been the leading wicket-taker in the last three West Indies Championship seasons, where he has taken 91 wickets alone.
On the other hand, Jamaica’s left-handed batsman Kirk McKenzie has got a chance in the team after the injury to John Campbell. Campbell was suffering from a hamstring strain during the ODI series against New Zealand. McKenzie has recently paved the way for his return to the national team by scoring 323 runs in 6 innings at an average of 64.60 in the West Indies Championship.
Anderson Phillip out of the team
Right-arm fast bowler Anderson Phillip, who was a part of the last Test series against Sri Lanka, has been dropped from the team due to poor performance. At the same time, the team will be commanded by experienced Roston Chase, apart from this, Jomel Warrican has been retained as the vice-captain. Let us tell you, the first test match between the two teams will be played at the Brian Lara Stadium from July 25. This will be the first test match in the history of this ground. After this the second test will be played in Port of Spain.
