There is no shortage of petrol, diesel and fertilizer in the country, important meeting of CCS amid Gulf crisis

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) in Parliament House on Thursday amid uproar by MPs of opposition parties in both the Houses of Parliament. This important meeting was called to discuss the issues related to Gulf crisis and Hormuz, in which it was told that despite the current crisis, there is no shortage of petrol, diesel and urea in the country.

The other ministers present in this meeting regarding the West Asia crisis also gave detailed information about the situation. It was also told what their future plans are. It was also emphasized in the meeting that under any circumstances, India will take a strong stand against the death of an Indian sailor and will not tolerate such incidents.

There is no shortage of petrol-urea in the country

It was also said in the meeting that there is no shortage of diesel, petrol, urea or other fertilizers in the country. The Central Government has also made alternative arrangements to deal with any situation. There is sufficient availability of fertilizer for next year’s Rabi crop. Everything is under the control of the government.

Earlier, PM Modi chaired a high-level meeting in his office in Parliament House. Many senior colleagues of his government were present in this meeting, including Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman are also included.

NSA Ajit Doval- Nadda also present

National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval was also present in the meeting. Apart from these, Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Health Minister JP Nadda, Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and Kiren Rijiju and many other ministers were also present.

The meeting came at a time when the government is keeping an eye on a number of issues, ranging from the response to alleged police brutality against the student movement to energy security concerns due to the ongoing crisis in Iran.
