Delhi High Court on Kala Hiran Film: Salman Khan has got a big relief from Delhi High Court. The court has directed to remove all the videos related to the film ‘Black Deer The Battle for Legacy’ allegedly inspired by him from social media sites. The court has also reprimanded the film’s producer Amit Jani. While hearing Salman Khan’s petition, the court has asked X and YouTube to remove all the videos related to Blackbuck The Battle of Legacy. Not only this, the court has reprimanded producer Amit Jani and asked him whether he considers himself above the law?
Amit Jani’s lawyer argued that neither Salman Khan was mentioned in the teaser nor AI or deepfake content was used, while Salman Khan’s lawyer said that despite being acquitted or getting legal relief in the blackbuck cases, the actor has been portrayed in a wrong way in the film. Besides, the lead actor of the film has also been chosen whose face matches with Salman Khan.
What were Salman’s demands?
In this case the court said- ‘Once reputation is lost, it does not come back.’ During the hearing, the court said that the actor is being linked to the black buck hunting case through the film, which is completely wrong. Now all this should stop. Salman Khan had earlier demanded protection of his personal rights and had accused the film of using his identity and image in a wrong way without his permission and creating confusion about him. According to the petition, the appearance of the lead actor in the film is matching that of Salman, while the actor is also wearing a blue colored bracelet which is known as Salman’s identity among the fans. Now Salman Khan seems to be getting relief in this matter due to the decision of the High Court.
