Spider-Man Brand New Day Review: If you thought that the mischievous neighbor Spider-Man would be breathing a sigh of relief after destroying the multiverse in ‘No Way Home’, then you are absolutely wrong! How are Marvel people going to let their most favorite superhero rest in peace so easily? After that magic of Doctor Strange, now no person named Peter Parker exists in the whole world. Wearing the mask of Spider-Man, he has become the Messiah of the whole of New York, but the 20-22 year old boy hidden behind that mask is so lonely, helpless and fighting with the darkness of his own past, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ has brought the story of this pain and new troubles.
Will this film save Marvel’s sinking ship? Is it just Peter Parker whining or is there some surprise too? Let us discuss this in detail.
Story
The story begins from where the entire identity of Peter Parker (Tom Holland) has been erased. No friends, no family, no one to cry on. Along with Captain DeWolfe, he is quietly eliminating crime in New York City. His only purpose in life is to keep the people of the city safe and to protect his old love MJ (Zendaya), even from a distance. But peace does not last long! There is a sudden entry of an unknown and mind-wrecking force in New York that is beyond human comprehension. Who is this new villain and who will he face? spider man How will he do it? To know this you will have to go to the theater and watch this film.
How is the movie?
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ gives peace to the heart. This film does not tell the clichéd story of saving the entire world from a villain from another planet, but this time it tells the story of an ordinary boy who gave away everything while making a living for others. The biggest feature of the film is that it takes you out of the heavy drama of ‘No Way Home’ and takes you on a ride full of down to earth and human emotions. When you sit in theaters wearing 3D glasses, you will not only see the swag of the superhero, but will also feel the pain of Peter Parker which will bring tears of joy in your eyes.

Direction and making
Talking about the making and direction of the film, the makers of Marvel have saved themselves from making a huge mistake this time. Often, so many superheroes are crammed into Marvel films that the original story becomes trash, but this has not happened here. Director Destin Daniel Cretton has created such a balance between Peter Parker’s personal conflicts and Spider-Man’s leaps from tall buildings that you will not be bored even for a moment.
Talking about VFX, as always, the scenes of Spider-Man throwing webs in the streets of New York and the VFX of his flights in 3D are so spectacular that looking at them in the 3D glasses of the theaters, it feels as if we ourselves are swinging with him. The background score of the film further increases the emotion of the scenes. Even though the first half of the film seems a bit dull and emotional, but by the second half, the film picks up such pace that you will be glued to your seat. Know how acting is
Tom Holland (Peter Parker / Spider-Man) No longer just playing Spider-Man, he has actually become Spider-Man! This time he does not appear to be the same childish or funny child as before, but now he has emerged as an intelligent and experienced young man. Seeing the pain hidden in his eyes, any viewer’s heart will melt.
Zendaya (MJ) This time also the work looks very natural. The on-screen chemistry of Tom and Zendaya is so great that whenever both of them come in a frame, a different atmosphere is created on the screen. The biggest surprise package of the film is Sadie Sink of ‘Stranger Things’ fame! It would be a spoiler to tell what her character is and what twist she brings to the story. But be assured that you may go to the theater for Tom Holland, but you will come out as a fan of Sadie Sink.
The real spice in the film comes when our green giant i.e. Hulk enters in his original form. Even though his role is small, this cameo, made in view of the upcoming ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, creates a lot of whistles in the theatres.

see or not
Overall, the film is good but amidst the crowd of so many big characters, the villain’s own backstory and intentions could have been given a little more screen-time. Overall, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ may not be the most devastating Marvel film, but it is definitely the most honest and heart-touching film in the Spider-Man franchise to date. If you are a die-hard fan of Marvel or superhero films, then this film will prove to be worth the money for you.
