Sana was struggling with bulimia

Sana Saeed told that she struggled with a serious eating disorder called Bulimia Nervosa for many years. This is a mental health related disease in which a person eats too much food at one go and then tries to expel that food from the body due to fear of gaining weight. For this, some people vomit, do excessive exercise or start using medicines without doctor’s advice.

Sana told that initially she thought it was just a bad habit of hers, but later she came to know that she was suffering from a serious illness. She said that social pressure to look thin, people’s comments and feeling ashamed of herself had made her situation more difficult. After getting the correct information and starting treatment, his recovery journey began and it took him about four years to recover completely.

The actress was unaware of the disease for 6 years

Sana Saeed said, “I used to think that this was just a bad habit, which I would have to correct myself. I used to feel very embarrassed about it and thought that perhaps I was the only one going through this problem. For the whole six years, I did not even know that the problem I was struggling with had a name. I wanted to get well and learn to eat healthy.

During this time, I came across a book written on recovery, which explained to me what disease I was actually fighting. “That’s where my real recovery started and it took me about four years to fully recover.”
