‘Google has started teasing its next generation Pixel smartphones just before the Made by Google event on August 12. The company has released the first official teaser of the Pixel 11 series, which gives an early glimpse of the Pixel 11 Pro in a new gold finish, and also confirmed the launch date via a dedicated Google Store landing page.
The teaser also shows a new hardware element called Pixel Glow, which hints at an add-on to the design. Along with the hardware preview, Google has confirmed that the event will focus on Gemini Intelligence features, which shows that AI will once again be at the center of its Pixel ecosystem.
Pixel Glow and Gemini Intelligence
The official teaser also shows a round light ring integrated into the rear camera bar along with the camera sensor. The name of this feature is Pixel Glow and reports suggest that it can replace the conventional LED flash and also act as a visual notification system. The colorful lighting effect is very similar to the animated colors used in Google’s AI interface.
Google has also sent out invitations for the August 12 event highlighting Gemini Intelligence, hinting that the company will also introduce new AI-powered capabilities with its upcoming hardware. The keynote will be streamed globally and the event will start at 3:30 am for Indian viewers on August 13.
Google Pixel 11 series
Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold can be launched in this new series of Google. Reports suggest that all models may come with Tensor G6 chipset with 2nm fabrication, the device is also expected to have MediaTek M90 5G modem.
