Ramayana: Studied engineering from IIT, then made films, know everything about Ramayana director Nitesh Tiwari.

Nitesh Tiwari was born on 22 May 1973 in Itarsi, Madhya Pradesh. He studied Metallurgy and Material Science Engineering from IIT Bombay and completed his graduation in 1996. Before coming to films, he worked in the world of advertising, where he honed his art of storytelling. In the year 2016, Nitish Tiwari directed Aamir Khan, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh starrer 'Dangal'. This film based on the life of Geeta and Babita Phogat was a huge hit not only in India but also abroad and especially in China. It became one of the highest grossing films of Indian cinema and Nitish also received the Filmfare Award for Best Director. After 'Dangal', Nitish Tiwari made 'Chhichhore' in 2019, in which Sushant Singh Rajput was in the lead role. This film based on themes like friendship, failure and mental health was highly appreciated by the audience. Later it received the National Award for Best Hindi Feature Film. Nitesh Tiwari has not only worked as a director but also as a writer and producer. He has directed films like 'Bhoothnath Returns' (2014) and 'Bawal' (2023). The stories of his films are heart touching. Now he is going to spread the magic of his art once again with the film Ramayana. This film will be released on the occasion of Diwali this year. The second part of the film will be released on Diwali next year i.e. in 2027.
