
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) is investigating the theft of offerings in Ayodhya’s Ram temple. Many big revelations were made during the investigation and many irregularities came to light. The SIT investigation is almost complete and it can soon submit its report to the government. After which many big people may come under investigation. The preliminary report had allegedly revealed repeated violations of security standards set by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and State Bank of India (SBI). The preliminary report had mentioned prima facie involvement of 6 contract cash counting employees and 2 supervisory personnel based on CCTV footage, seizures and financial evidence. The responsibility of senior supervisory officers was not fixed in the report, but there is a clear conclusion on this aspect in the final report.
New characters in the heat of investigation
After the final report of SIT, the scope of police investigation will increase further, after which many new characters will come under the scanner of this investigation. It is mentioned in the final report of the SIT that mere carelessness or absence cannot be an excuse to be relieved of responsibilities. Mention of Anukalp Mishra and Tinnu Yadav
