Actually, this case started when businessman Shashi Kiran Shetty approached the Bombay High Court, he is now the owner of this property. He had demolished the old structure and built a new structure, but he still named this place ‘Aashirwad’. Shashi Kiran alleged that in some media reports and YouTube videos, such things are being said about this bungalow, which have no solid basis. He told that at some places it is being said that ‘Aashirwad’ Bangla is cursed because it has ended the career of three superstars.

He said that such news is affecting his image and the reputation of his property. While hearing the case, Justice Arif Doctor of Bombay High Court said that at first glance the arguments of the petitioner appear strong. The court held that describing a property as ‘haunted’ or ‘cursed’ without any basis can affect the rights of its owner. The court also said that such things only serve to spread sensation.

According to the court, a person has the right to live with dignity and peace with his property. At the same time, the media institutions and channels against which allegations were made did not come forward to present their stand in this matter. Rajesh Khanna’s ‘Aashirvaad’ bungalow has been the identity of his stardom. Now after this order of the court, media and digital platforms will have to be careful while showing news related to this property. The next hearing of this case will be on August 21.
