Amidst the news of Rohit Sharma’s retirement, R Ashwin has raised questions on the thinking and atmosphere of Team India and BCCI. According to R Ashwin, the players in Team India should be thrown out after proper discussion. Ashwin said in simple gestures that there is no direct conversation with the players. Ashwin further said, ‘My point is that there should be direct conversation with the player. This can happen in a good way. If you see in big companies, they fire their employees. But if there is someone at the senior level who has given a lot to the company, then talks with them should be done in a good manner. Ashwin said, ‘If someone has played well for you for two decades, has won so many matches, then you should talk to him in a good manner, show him the way in a good manner. Removing him from the team can also be done in a better way.

Ashwin said- decision should have been taken first
Ashwin also said in his YouTube show that if Rohit Sharma had to be removed, then this decision should have been taken immediately after winning the Champions Trophy. According to Ashwin, Rohit Sharma’s experience will be needed in the World Cup to be held in South Africa. Ashwin admitted that Yashasvi Jaiswal is performing well but Rohit’s experience will be useful there.
