He said that this is the victory of truth and the defeat of PM Modi’s stubbornness. This is the victory of all those families who lost their blood, their children, because this government is corrupt.

Action should be taken against those who wield sticks.

Kharge Said that this is the victory of the united opposition, who raised their voice from Parliament to the streets in the interest of students. Now it is Modi’s turn to apologize to our young generation and take strict action against those who used sticks and pellet guns on them.

After Pradhan’s resignation, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh wrote on social site X that Pradhan was finally forced to resign. It was the constant pressure from the youth that finally forced the Prime Minister to stop giving them political cover. This is the victory of a generation that is tired of struggling in a wrong and corrupt system, and the victory of an opposition that has shown unity and solidarity with the students like a rock.

Jairam Ramesh told, why was Pradhan’s resignation necessary?

In his press conference after the exam was cancelled, Minister Pradhan deliberately avoided using the word leak. The Education Ministry had officially denied before the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education in May 2020 that the paper was leaked.

He said that even in his resignation letter, Minister Pradhan has refused to use the word ‘paper leak’, but has been referring to ‘irregularities’. When the minister refuses to even admit what went wrong in the first place, there is no hope of a fair investigation or accountability.
