Paper leak cases are not showing any signs of stopping across the country. Every day some or the other case of paper leak is coming to light for some time now. The issue of NEET paper leak was not over yet, meanwhile a new controversy has come to light regarding the Drug Inspector recruitment examination in Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC).
Serious allegations of paper leak and rigging have been made by MPSC in the Drug Inspector (Drug Inspector) recruitment examination of Food and Drug Administration (FDA). NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) MLA Rohit Pawar has claimed that a person involved in the process of preparing the exam paper was allegedly the main architect of the paper leak. He said that if these allegations are proved true then serious questions will be raised on the fairness of the recruitment process.
Accused of selling paper for Rs 12 lakh
According to Rohit Pawar, the paper of the Drug Inspector recruitment examination held on 22 March 2026 was leaked. He said that the paper had reached some people even before the examination. He alleges that the paper was sold for around ₹12 lakh. In this, first ₹ 5 lakh advance was taken and after the completion of the examination, the remaining amount of ₹ 7 lakh was recovered.
Names of Naib Tehsildar’s children revealed
Along with this, the MLA also alleged that the names of the son and daughter of a Naib Tehsildar have come to light in this case. According to Pawar, both of them were successful in this examination. According to him, the son got 13th rank with 149 marks, while the daughter got 16th rank with 148 marks.
The paper reached many people through WhatsApp
Rohit Pawar claims that a parent associated with Nandurbar’s Kautilya Academy had purchased such a question paper in which almost 90 percent of the questions matched the questions asked in the examination. It is alleged that the same paper later reached many people through WhatsApp. Many candidates downloaded it and the whole matter came to light after a student shared it with his friend.
Drug Inspector Recruitment Exam was held offline on 22 March (2026). Its results were declared on June 12. After this, interviews were conducted between 1 and 21 July and the final selection list was released on 22 July.
Demand for strict action against the culprits
Rohit Pawar has demanded an independent and impartial investigation into the entire matter and said that if the paper leak is confirmed then strict action should be taken against the culprits. He has demanded a CBI investigation into this matter. On the other hand, MPSC has rejected the allegations of paper leak and termed the recruitment process as per the rules and transparent.
