
The issue of death of Indian sailor in Iranian attack has heated up. On Tuesday, India summoned Iranian Deputy Chief of Mission Mohammad Javad Hussaini and sought answers. Iranian officials have been called to the Foreign Ministry. Iran attacked two UAE oil tankers in Hormuz. One Indian crew member was killed in this attack while several were injured.
The UAE Defense Ministry issued a statement saying that its ‘Mombasa’ and ‘Al Bahiyah’ tankers were passing through Hormuz when they were attacked by Iran with missiles. In this attack, an Indian crew member on board ‘Mombasa’ died, while eight other people were injured. According to the UAE Defense Ministry, the condition of four of the injured is said to be critical.

The UAE Defense Ministry said that due to the attack both tankers caught fire, causing damage to them. However, the fire was later controlled. The UAE strongly condemned this incident and called it a violation of international law.
