This committee was formed under the chairmanship of Lucknow Commissioner. This committee will investigate the alleged theft of offerings.

For the last few days, questions have started being raised regarding the offerings at Ram temple. It has been alleged that some serious irregularities have come to light during the counting of offerings. Many irregularities were found during the counting of offerings worth Rs 3 crore.
Petition filed in High Court, demand for CBI investigation
A PIL has also been filed in the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court on Friday, in which a CBI investigation has been demanded into this matter. Meanwhile, on June 8, Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra also went to Ayodhya. A meeting was held with the members of the trust on this issue.
At the same time, 4 people have been interrogated in this case. Recovery of Rs 5 lakh has also been made from the account of an employee. CCTV footage is also being scrutinized. Amidst all the incidents, statements are being made. When people associated with the trust were questioned about this, they said that there should be an impartial investigation and the truth should come out.
Allegation of alleged theft created stir
Prakash Gupta, in-charge of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust camp office, alleged that earlier too when irregularities were found, information was given to the trust, but no concrete action was taken then. Earlier, the process of collecting donation money and sending it to the bank was different. Later the system was changed.
He said that earlier the donations collected at the cash counter used to come to the trust officer and from there to the bank. Later the bank built a counter inside and appointed a staff. People counting cash were also brought by the bank. The mistake has been made by them only.
Referring to Mahipal Singh, Prakash Gupta said that he had also noticed the irregularities and had also informed the senior officials of the Trust about it, when no action was taken, Mahipal Singh went back to Kota. No person of trust can do wrong.
Action in Ram temple offering case
Action is also being taken in the Ram temple offering case. A person named Lavkush from Rudauli village of Ayodhya has been detained. Cash was also recovered from his house. The family has confirmed this. Father of accused Lavkush says that he was working in the temple premises for four-five months. It is being claimed that Rs 5 lakh has been recovered from Lavkush’s house. TV9 team reached that village. Reached the house where Rs 5 lakh was found.
On the other hand, when Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra was asked a question in this matter, he clearly said that he only looks after the work related to the construction of Ram Mandir. However, Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati has raised many serious questions. He has said that some people are doing as per their wish.
