
Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested 5 accused in a major action against the module of Pakistan-based terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). These people have been arrested from different districts of the state. Even before this, 8 terrorists associated with this module have been arrested.
The arrested people have been identified as Bilal Abidbhai Shera, Mohammad Ayub Kadiwala, Mohammad Palanpuri alias Khali Ayub Sunsara, Shafia Rais Mukhti and Mohammad Hasan Kardia. They were caught from Khadial village of Sidhpur taluka of Patan district.

According to Gujarat ATS, the arrested accused were members of Pakistan-based banned terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed and they were involved in testing explosive devices along with the earlier arrested accused. According to the investigating agencies, these terrorists were planning large-scale serial blasts in the country.
Gujarat ATS have arrested five more accused associated with the terror organization Jaish-e-Mohammed from various districts of the state.

Names were revealed during interrogation
According to officials, the names of these 5 people had come up during the interrogation of 8 Jaish-e-Mohammed members arrested earlier this month, after which they were arrested. After this, the accused were sent to the judicial magistrate R in Kadi town of Mehsana district. Presented in M. Bhatia’s court. From where he was sent to ATS custody till July 24. These people had tried making bombs 7 to 8 times.
Terrorists were planning to carry out major attacks in the country
Investigation has revealed that the masterminds of this module are Mohammad Ayub and Amin Shera. It is alleged that he had ordered special chemicals and other materials including gun powder to carry out the blast. Along with this, these people had also tested their network and explosive capability by carrying out small explosions 7 to 8 times in deserted places of rural areas. After learning the technique of making bombs, they were planning to carry out major attacks in the country.
Of the total 13 suspected terrorists of Jaish’s terrorist module exposed by Gujarat ATS, two terrorists were in direct contact with the top leadership of Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist organization. Two suspected terrorists were in constant touch with Bahawalpur Markaz Subhan Allah Jaish headquarters. This has been revealed from the electronic gadgets of two suspected terrorists.
8 people were arrested from Madhya Pradesh
Public Prosecutor P.R. Dantani said that ATS had sought permission from the court to take the accused into custody and interrogate them. ATS told the court that one of the accused had tried to make a time bomb and the bomb making material and Urdu literature related to Jaish-e-Mohammed are yet to be recovered. Gujarat ATS had arrested 8 members of Jaish-e-Mohammed from various areas of Gujarat and adjacent Madhya Pradesh on July 3. Police had said that the accused were trying to establish an active terrorist network in Gujarat.
