PM said that Punjab is the land of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, but what is happening in Punjab today is not hidden from anyone.
He said that today law and order is in a bad state in Punjab. No one can say when and where gang war will take place and in what manner bullets will be fired. It has become difficult to do business and trade here. The saddest thing is that the future of Punjab is also being ruined, drug dealers are roaming freely. The youth of Punjab are being pushed into the quagmire of drugs.
PM Modi Said that today these people are sitting in power in Punjab. These people very arrogantly claim to change the politics of the country, but today the country is seeing their truth. Just 2-3 days ago, the court in Delhi has declared one of their leaders guilty on the charge of rioting. The culprit is the murder of a police IB officer.
Government of a fanatically dishonest party… PM’s attack
He said that look at the shamelessness of these people that the court gave its decision on the basis of evidence, but these people are questioning the decision of the court. They are looking for religion in the court’s decision because it is a question of vote bank. A few days ago the court has sentenced their MLA to 7 years imprisonment. PM Modi said that many of their leaders are out on bail. You see in Punjab, the person who was made the Health Minister had to be dismissed because of taking bribe. There are allegations of money laundering against a minister and their MLAs are being caught red handed while taking bribes. If we keep counting like this, we will find very few people in his government and his party who do not have any blemish.
He said that the work of serving the public is done with clear intentions and honesty, but the party which is in government in Punjab today neither has clear intentions nor is it honest, its very identity is that of a staunchly dishonest party.
Every development work stopped in Punjab
PM Modi said that the Central Government is making every possible effort to ensure that the people of Punjab get the benefits of every scheme of the Centre, but the government of a staunchly dishonest party is running an open game of loot here. In the last 12 years, lakhs and crores of rupees were sent from the Center to Punjab. With this money, village roads, canals and markets were built, but the Punjab government did not spend that money in the right place. The big thing is that this loot is also being carried out on loan money.

PM Modi said that Punjab’s budget is being spent on repaying the loan interest and here the people of the state government are enjoying the money from that loan. Today the situation is such that every development work in Punjab is at a standstill and only the schemes of the Government of India are being sold by putting a sticker of their name on them.
PM Modi said that he has put his sticker on our ongoing schemes. We have also put our sticker on the Ayushman scheme which is running across the country to provide free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. Punjab can develop rapidly, but this can happen only with the double engine government of BJP and this government is necessary for Punjab.
Farmers are only getting cheated
He said that the example of BJP’s state governments is in front of you all, ever since the double engine government of BJP has been formed in Delhi, the development of Delhi has gained momentum. In your neighborhood there is Haryana, where there is a double engine government of BJP, there farmers are being given MSP on 24 crops, whereas in Punjab, farmers are only being cheated.
He said that the Central and Haryana governments are giving 60% DA to the employees but in Punjab, leave alone 60%, there is no guarantee of what they are getting and the employees have to protest to get their rights. He has stabbed his sisters and daughters on the back, talked big and got votes but remained silent for the entire 50 months. Didn’t even remember the promise, by now ₹ 50000 should have been deposited in the sisters’ accounts but the sisters got only lies.
Only BJP can bring real change
PM Modi said that the Congress party in Punjab is also crying foul. The crying of the chair in Congress in Punjab is not ending. Their fight is only about who will have the chair. Same is the condition of Akali Dal, they too are busy in their own interests and they too do not care about the people of Punjab.
The story of the chair in Congress in Punjab does not end.
They are not fighting to see how the welfare of Punjab will be served, their fight is to decide who will hold the chair they hold.

PM Modi said that only BJP can bring real change in Punjab. Only BJP will do the work of developing Punjab. Only BJP will do the work of making Punjab self-reliant. New investment will come in Punjab and new employment opportunities will be created in Punjab. Only the BJP government in the state can do this work of making the products made in Punjab reach every corner of the world.
