July 15 was a very special day for air travelers. Direct flight from Indore to Abu Dhabi, the capital of United Arab Emirates (UAE) has started. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated this new international flight at Indore Airport. He flagged off the flight and left it from Indore airport. This has been started under the International Madhya Pradesh Civil Aviation Policy-2025. On this occasion, CM Dr. Yadav also handed over symbolic boarding passes to the passengers.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav Said that this opportunity of international flight to mother Ahilya’s city Indore through Madhya Pradesh government is important. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, every state is making industrial-economic progress. Airlines are important in this progress.
Indore is going to become a metropolitan city – Yadav
The economic capital Indore will become more important by becoming a metropolitan city. Under our aviation policy, air services are running successfully within the state. He said that I have been told that Rewa-Delhi flight, Rewa-Indore flight, Rewa-Raipur flight are being operated well. In future, flights will start for Jabalpur-Kolkata, Bhopal-Rewa, Bhopal-Patna, Rewa-Kolkata. Along with this, the state government is also paying attention to religious tourism. Heli service is available for Indore-Ujjain-Omkareshwar-Indore.
Our government will give subsidy- CM
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that even a person wearing slippers can sit in an aeroplane. After the formation of our government, we are following this spirit. To go from Indore to Abu Dhabi, one has to first go to Delhi-Mumbai, then reach there in 7 to 8 hours. But a direct flight from Indore will take passengers to Abu Dhabi in just 3 to 4 hours. He said that the government is ready to give a subsidy of Rs 15 lakh on every flight under the Madhya Pradesh Aviation Policy. Under this, this big gift is being received today. The fare for this flight will be Rs 12-14 thousand instead of Rs 25 thousand. The government will bear the difference in the price of this ticket.
International flight is necessary for economic strength
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that after the formation of the government, three airports were inaugurated in the state. Apart from this, two airports Ujjain and Shivpuri are under construction. In this way ten airports will be available in the state. There will be a commercial airport and an air strip every 75 km. There will be a helipad every 45 km. These helipads which are going to be built in 230 constituencies will prove useful.
He said that I am happy that under regional connectivity, Shahdol-Neemuch-Chhindwara-Mandla will also get the benefit of RCS scheme. Especially, PMShree ambulance service is necessary for the sick. Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to start this facility. Many people are copying our plan. He said that we have a glorious past relationship with Abu Dhabi. This type of flight is also needed to become economically strong. I congratulate the people going on this flight.
