
Delhi government will dedicate 45 new Ayushman Arogya Mandir to the public under the seventh phase of ‘Ayushman Arogya Mandir’ initiative. This will further strengthen the access to better quality primary healthcare services near people’s homes in the capital Delhi. Delhi Health Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh said that 45 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs are included in the new health care facilities.
Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh said that through these centres, essential health services will be available to the citizens close to their homes, where special emphasis will be given on disease prevention, health promotion and comprehensive primary health care. The Health Minister further said that till now our government has successfully started 370 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and dedicated them to the public.
Which includes 244 urban sub health centers and 126 urban primary health centres. This initiative reflects the Delhi Government’s continued commitment to further strengthen healthcare services at the grassroots level. Many types of healthcare services are being provided in Ayushman Arogya temples. It is being told that these include better health care of mother and child, vaccination, diagnosis and management of diseases, treatment of common diseases, essential medicines, health check-up, health promotion and primary health services related to wellness.
Every citizen of Delhi will get good treatment
Health Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh said that the inauguration of Ayushman Arogya Mandirs is an important milestone towards our vision of making good quality healthcare accessible, affordable and universal to every citizen of the capital Delhi. These centers will become the first point of contact for comprehensive primary healthcare, with special emphasis on disease prevention, early detection, timely testing and treatment.
