
After the technical glitch in CUET-UG 2026, NTA has taken a big decision, now the examination will be conducted again for 3765 students. Let us tell you, due to technical glitches at some examination centers in the first shift of CUET-UG 2026 on May 30, there was a delay in starting the examination. NTA said that due to this the students had to face trouble and stress, for which the agency has expressed regret.
According to NTA, TCS iON, which provides technical services, has been asked to thoroughly investigate the matter and submit a report. NTA said that after the resumption of the examinations, about 95 percent of the students were able to complete their exams. However, there were 3765 candidates who left the center before the resumption of the examination after completing the biometric registration. NTA has decided to give a chance for re-examination to these students. Let us tell you, NTA has said that the date of re-examination and other information will be released separately.

Opposition leaders said attack
Opposition leaders have strongly criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government for national level examinations regarding the continuous paper rigging in the BJP government. Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi raised questions on the failure of the Central Government to conduct the examinations properly. “NEET. CBSE. SSC. And today CUET. Four exams. One crore children. Not a single one of these was conducted honestly,” Gandhi said in a post on Twitter.
He further said, “Modi ji has completely ruined the entire education system. The generation whose future you are destroying will take account from you.”
At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal also targeted PM Modi regarding the obstacles faced in CUET-UG 2026. In a post on X, Kejriwal wrote, “The country needs an educated PM.” He said this while replying to AAP leader Atishi’s post, in which the problems faced by students at an examination center in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh were highlighted.
