Commonwealth Games 2026 India Schedule, Day 3: India’s medal account has opened in the Commonwealth Games 2026 held in Glasgow, Scotland. Late on the second day of the competition, para powerlifter Jhandu Kumar gave the country its first medal of this season by winning the bronze medal in the men’s heavyweight category. On the third day and first weekend of the tournament, Indian athletes will present their claim in important sports like gymnastics, lawn balls, boxing, swimming and 3×3 wheelchair basketball.

Today all eyes will be on these important matches

In artistic gymnastics, the Indian women’s team led by Pranati Nayak will enter the team final and individual qualification round today with the intention of winning a medal. Meanwhile, in boxing, Sachin Siwach will start his campaign against Keoma Al-Ahmadia of Canada in the round of 32 of men’s 60 kg weight category. Apart from this, in swimming, Dakshan Shashikumar and Aryan Nehra will enter the water in men’s 400 meter freestyle heats. If qualified, he will take part in the medal match late at night.

Complete schedule for July 25:

  • 3:50 pm – Lawn Bowls: India (Rupa Rani Tirkey, Pinky Singh) vs Tonga (Paris Baker, Milica Nathan) — Women’s Pairs Sectional Play (Section B).
  • 4:00 PM – Boxing: Sachin Siwach vs Keoma Al-Ahmadiya (Canada) — Men’s 60kg Round of 32.
  • 4:19 pm – Swimming: Dakshan Sasikumar (Heat 3) and Aryan Nehra (Heat 4) — Men’s 400m Freestyle Heats.
  • 4:35 pm – 3×3 Wheelchair Basketball: Wales vs India (Lakshmi Raynavar, Ritu Irengbam, Reena Gupta, Meenakshi Jadhav) — Women’s Pool B match.
  • 7:30 pm – Lawn Bowls: Putul Sonowal vs Izzat Zulkeple (Malaysia) — Men’s Singles Sectional Play (Section D).
  • 8:15 pm – Artistic Gymnastic: Pranati Nayak, Nishka Agarwal, Ishita Rewale, Pratistha Samant – Women’s Team Final and Individual Qualification (Medal Event).
  • 11:37 pm – Swimming): Dakshan Sasikumar, Aryan Nehra — Men’s 400m freestyle final (if qualifying – medal event).
